Alvi's Drift Nectarinia (14,5%)

The grapes are specifically selected for their ability to produce a high sugar content while maintaining their quality. They are harvested last, after they have dried well and developed a high sugar content.

In the cellar, the Muscat à Petits Grains grapes are crushed and the juice is left with the skins so that the full extraction of crystallised sugars can take place. The wine is then pressed and fortified. This dessert wine is aged for 18 months in small oak barrels.

The Alvi's Drift Nectarinia Muscat is a wonderful example of a rich, ripe and delicious dessert wine. The wine has a beautiful golden colour that reflects the ripeness of the grapes. The nose is filled with complex aromas of dried fruits, fresh grapes and warm spiciness. The wine's high sugar content gives it a lush mouthfeel. The wine fills the mouth with an explosion of dried apricot, peach and nutty flavours. A wonderful wine to end the evening with.

Made in small quantities, this wine is a rarity and largely undiscovered. Limited availability.
