Clément Canne Bleue vintage 2021 is an AOC Martinique agricultural rum that is eagerly awaited by fans every year. The bottle of this single-variety rum is decorated with an elegant and festive glittery design.
After distillation in a copper creole column at the Simon distillery, this cuvée is slowly reduced and brewed for a period of 6 months before bottling. The blue cane develops aromas of orange blossom, sugar cane and tropical fruits.
To be enjoyed neat, as a traditional ti'punch or in cocktails.

The nose is inevitably that of an AOC Martinique agricultural rum, where the freshness of the cane predominates. The aromas are frank and powerful, with a touch of rusticity that keeps us close to the terroir. The intensity of the cane juice and the still wet bagasse give us a clean and clear profile.
The aeration brings us to a tighter, sharper register, which concentrates on concentrated berries, tart cherries and exotic peppercorns. The rum then loosens up and develops velvety fruit notes such as peach and apricot. The cane is enriched by all this and really gains in maturity.
On the palate, the attack is rather round and oily, then the fresh cane quietly takes over the space. It carries some ethereal and spicy notes, which slightly tingle the taste buds, then melt into vegetal notes.
The finish is light and gently peppery, with a cane fibre that you chew on for a while.
