This is the sixth and final release of the Dingle Single Malt Batch series. Matured exclusively in Tawny Port casks, this is an unique expression of the interaction between Single Malt spirit and fortified wine.
The influence of the Port casks delivers a wonderful intensity, releasing aromas of thick cut marmelade, butterscotch and crystallised ginger. An elegant taste of full-on fruit and spice with hints of crushed cranberries and dark chocolate, brings a lively finish of ginger spice and honeyed dates to a subtle legthening sweetness.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: The Port casks deliver a wonderful intensity. Maple syrup, thick cut marmalade, butterscotch, and crystallised ginger.
Taste: Full on fruit and spice. Waffles laced with syrup, redcurrant jelly, crushed cranberries, gingerbread, and dark chocolate.
Finish: Lively with an increasing sweetness. Ginger spice and honeyed dates come to fore.
