Duncan Taylor Caperdonich 1969 - 50 Years Old (47.9%)

Caperdonich's birth dates back to 1898. In between, production spent six decades in mothballs until it was reinstated in 1965. An expansion of the Caperdonich distillery took place in 1967, due to the growth of the neighboring Glen Grant Single Malt. Greater capacity became necessary as a result. The newly installed pot stills were heated with steam, which was state-of-the-art technology at the time. The whisky was then given a new appellation by naming its water source in 1966, Caperdonich.

A very limited edition of only 88 handmade glass decanters of this release is available to the entire world. The bottles are all individually numbered and engraved and kept in a beautiful framed box and housed in a brushed stainless steel carrying case.
