This is a Hampden 5 Year Old 2017 DOK rum, privately bottled by Habitation Velier from Jamaica's famed Trelawny Parish distillery. The DOK brand name refers to Dermot Owen Kelly-Lawson, owner and manager of the distillery at the end of the 20th century.
The rum was distilled in a double-twisted pott still and received tropical ageing for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels. This tropical climate was responsible for the 34% of angels share.
Overripe pineapple, tropical fruit, and banana, along with hints of nail polish are the prominent tasting notes. This rum promises an intense, ester-rich taste
