Kilchoman Genesis - Peating Stage 3 Limited Release (49,4%)

Kilchoman Genesis Peating Stage 3 is the 3rd entry in Kilchoman's Genesis series, in which each whisky is inspired by a specific part of the whisky production process. The Genesis Stage 3 focuses on peat sourced from Islay. This whisky matured in a mix of bourbon (70%), STR (25%) and sherry casks (5%). Kilchoman Genesis Peating contains 49.4% alcohol and is limited edition to 3,600 bottles.

Tasting Notes:
The aroma is rich with notes of vanilla, sweet malt and caramel with hints of citrus and smoke in the background. Full and balanced on the palate with hints of toffee, caramel, pineapple and spice. Hints of raisins and dates are also present. The finish of the "Genesis Stage 3" combines hints of peat and meaty notes with a touch of fruit.
