Lindores Abbey “The Casks of Lindores” Bourbon Cask (49,4%)

"The Casks of Lindores" is a small series of 3 bottlings matured in casks of different origins. The first bottling of these "Casks of Lindores" is exclusively from former bourbon casks. Two more "Casks of Lindores" small batch bottlings from former sherry casks, and from STR (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred) casks will follow in the near future.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: earthy notes with fresh hay and grass silage, specula spices and a pinch of tobacco. White spices tickle the nose, after which white and yellow fruits take over.
Flavour: cream caramel with lychees, after which warming oak and white spices take over. The fruit and spices continue to thread through the character.
Finish: wonderfully smooth and indulgent with lingering warm spices. Stunningly rounded and delicious to drink.
