Loch Lomond 14 years undergoes its distillation in the innovative and unique stills of the Loch Lomond distillery. To create this 14 year old Loch Lomond they use non-turfed spirit and in addition, unmistakable fruit notes form the basis of this whisky's character. Maturation in refill casks of American oak and casks of French oak adds body and subtly and tastefully accentuates the house style characteristics.
In the glass, an explosion of flavors comes to life: aromas of apple and pear dominate the nose after which layers of toffee, vanilla and grapefruit come to life on the palate. In the finish, several warming spices and hints of anise shine through.
