For more than 20 years, Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel has explored the world of rum in search of ancestral production methods. For this one-time limited edition, he crossed the ocean to the shores of Jamaica, where he handpicked only 28 casks.
The latest release from the Vintage Collection : Jamaica 2007 produced at the legendary Clarendon distillery and enhanced by our double ageing technique. This unique expression is aged 13 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica and matured for another 2 years in French oak Ferrand casks in the southwest of France.
Distilled in a Vendome double retrort potstill after a 3-4 day fermentation in open vats.

‎Nose: Intense tropical notes of banana, vanilla and allspice, hints of persimmon and orange peel, moves on to tar, sea spray and camphor.
Mouth: Fruity, aromas of melon melon, ripe guava and delicate spiciness.
Finish: Toasted oak with cinnamon and liquorice notes and a fresh minty touch
