Liqueur enjoyment from pine cones

In this liqueur we captured the full taste of the Alps - the "Queen of the Alps" to be precise. The Swiss stone pine, or Swiss stone pine for short, is often referred to as such due to its adaptability. The special type of pine grows at altitudes from 1,300 to 2,850 meters, the cones of which ensure the unique taste of the Wild Mountain Pine liqueur.

Harvesting involves a lot of (climbing) effort every year. The experienced pickers have to climb up to 25 meters to get to the fragrant pine cones. Then it should be done quickly, because the Swiss stone pine fruits have to be processed within a very short time, otherwise they will become bitter and therefore unusable. Freshly delivered, we cut the cones into smaller pieces and then put them in alcohol. Ultimately, this creates our Wild Mountain Pine Liqueur with the typical reddish color. The mostly slightly resinous cones give this liqueur specialty a pleasantly tart, spicy aroma and the typical reddish color. The intense fragrance as well as the fine resinous note and light sweetness are a unique taste pleasure.
