Ron Esclavo 12yo Islay Whisky Finish (46%)

This Ron Esclavo 12 Limited Edition Islay Whisky Finish is based on the Ron Esclavo 12, a premium rum made from fresh sugar cane juice and molasses, fully tropically aged in American and French oak barrels. This rum recieved a second continental maturation in ex-Islay Whisky barrels fron another 9 months, bottled in august 2020 and yields a total of 1879 bottles.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: A vivid mix of bonfire, melting marshmellows, ripe fruits and bisquits combined with some subtle vegetal notes.
Palate: A clear smokey note deriving from the barrel combined with lush stone fruits and a touch of black pepper. All in all a complex profile with a surprisingly mild finish.
