Spey 10 Years Old (46%)

The Spey 10 years old is a 10-year-old Speyside single malt aged in bourbon as well as port barrels. This is a limited edition of only 3,000 bottles bottled in early 2019 at 46%.

Tasting Notes:
Color: dark amber, red copper
Nose: balanced with notes of red wine, hard acidity. Sweet licorice with warm oak and pinch of clotted grass. Then pears and apples.
Taste: a slightly syrupy but delicate mouthfeel. Juicy fruit combines with white herbs and pepper. A few drops of water bring even more balance. A very flavorful whiskey with no sharp edges.
Finish: medium and balanced with a delicious combination of fruit and spices.
