Teeling 20 yo Rivesaltes Cask (54,4%)

Beautiful new Single Cask release from Teeling, exclusive for the Netherlands! This whiskey has been aged for 20 years in a Rivesaltes (French wine) cask before being bottled in February 2022. Due to the nature of the Rivesaltes cask, this whiskey has taken on a rich, dark colour, which can also be seen in the picture, and it may appear a little cloudy... However, this whiskey has been filtered with the finest filter (1micron) available at Teeling and is therefore free of all particles and sediments from the cask.

Rivesaltes produces many excellent sweet wines. And it is the barrels from which this wine comes that add the spicy, fresh fruit notes and warming nutty flavours to this whisky.
