Teeling Sommelier Selection Douro Old Vines Small Batch Series (46%)

After the French and Italian vineyards, the Dublin distillery Teeling has decided to take us to Portugal for this new limited edition, in the heart of the Douro Valley. This new addition to the Sommelier Selection collection has been matured for 14 months in ex-casks of Portuguese red wine from the Douro Valley.
The Teeling Sommelier Selection Douro Wine Cask whiskey reveals an intense nose that opens with black fruits supported by sweet spices and a melted woody note. On the palate, some tannins recall the influence of the cask. It confirms the aromas of the nose and stretches to a long and delicately spicy finish.
