The Maltman Balblair 2001-10yo Oloroso Cask (52.6%)

A beautiful Balblair 2011 that has matured in an Oloroso sherry cask. Fruit tumtum with honey and toffee-dipped apple. Pure oak with cherry. First sherry on the tongue followed by candy ginger, apricots and warm toffee over apple pie. The aftertaste is warming with more sherry influences, with the throat being heated for a long time by cinnamon and warm fruit. This is a personal recommendation from the importer.
