Widow Jane Rye Mash Whiskey
Widow Jane is a distillery named after the Widow Jane mine, in New York. This mine was used to dig up the limestone used for the Empire State building and Brooklyn bridge. The water is produces now is naturally limestone filtered sweet water and compliments the whiskey brilliantly.
The Whiskey made of Rye mash uses an extra string of American oak wooden staves for a fuller flavour. Rye mash in rye whiskey creates spicy tones and a drier taste.
