International customs charges and insurance against damage
1. Within the EU, VAT applies to all our products. Customers outside the EU can order tax-free (except whisky's WITH a * or two ** behind the product name are private owners bottles).
2. Any costs associated with customs clearance are the responsibility of the customer. We have no control over these costs. Furthermore, parcels may be opened for inspection, which may cause delays.
3. Please be aware that customs authorities in your country may damage or destroy the parcel. This is beyond our control and no refund will be given for this.
4. Parcels returned by customs or other authorities will be refunded, excluding the delivery charges and administrative costs.
5. For further information, we advise you to contact your local government or customs authorities.
6. Shipment to your country is at the customer’s risk; we cannot guarantee delivery.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Refusal to pay the local import duties and taxes will result in the goods either being destroyed by customs or being returned to the sender at the cost of the consignee (costs will be deducted from any refund owed). If your local customs office is holding your order, you can determine this from the information available through the tracking process.
