Alvi's Drift Reserve Red Fusion (13,5%)

After fermentation, the wine matures for 22 months in barrels of both French and American oak, of which one third are new. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Shiraz and Petit Verdot, with the Cabernet Sauvignon playing the leading role. The Pinotage has a share of 30%. The classic Cape Blend is full of aromas and flavours of ripe blackberries, mulberries and plums. Tones of vanilla and cashew nuts are beautifully integrated by the maturation in wooden barrels. The wine has a storage potential of 5 to 8 years.
