Hampden Fifteen is the oldest expression ever to be fully tropically matured at Hampden Estate itself. Since 2010, the rums have been matured there in the warm and humid Jamaican climate, resulting in an exceptional concentration of aromas and esters. The hot and humid conditions in Hampden Estate's warehouses result in extremely concentrated esters and aromas, to levels comparable to those of a 45-year-old whisky or cognac matured in Europe. This small batch is based on a historic "mark" first created in 1952. The long maturation in ex-bourbon casks reveals an aromatic profile with layers of fruity, oily, oxidative, and refined powdery notes.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Candied fruit, marmalade, fig, almond, roasted nuts, slightly smoky.
Taste : Lively and creamy, ripe tropical fruit (mango, guava), ginger, cocoa, oily.
Finish : Silky smooth and tannic, spicy, fruity, floral notes and slightly medicinal
