Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition Pinot Noir (40%)

The Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition Pinot Noir Finish is an experimental single malt whisky that allows you to discover how Tamnavulin's house style is enriched by a finishing period in ex-pinot noir casks. This single malt whisky initially matures in casks of American oak for a period of several years. To add a twist to its aroma, colour and flavour, the choice was made to apply a post-ripening in ex-pinot noir casks from Germany.
On the nose, you can detect hints of Turkish fruit, caramelised peach, cherries, apple pie and a hint of blood orange. Creamy vanilla flavours, notes of peach, ginger, cherries, figs and liquorice pass by on the palate. This leads into a subtle and smooth finish.
