Distilled in 2005 at Foursquare Rum Distillery, the rum was created from a blend of pot still and column still distillates combined prior to cask ageing to establish balance and structure from the outset.
Maturation began in Barbados in an American white oak cask, where the rum spent twelve years ageing under tropical conditions. The palate is rich and mouth-filling, recalling vanilla custard and sweet baked pastry, before moving toward flavours of overripe banana and toasted coconut at the core. The finish develops slowly, bringing lingering oak and soft cinnamon spice.
