Tres Hombres Edition 61 - La Palma Ron Y Miel (45%)

The distillation was carried out with care by Aldea distillery on the island of La Palma, which belongs to the Canary Islands. The sugar cane at the origin of this rum, is produced organically in Aldea's own fields. So that means without fertilizers or pesticides that could harm the environment or our health. Another 5% delicious local Spanish honey has been added to this special rum to give it an extra sweet taste.

After 6 months of aging on the island, this rum was picked up by the sailing freighter Tres Hombres in 2022. The rum made its journey across the sea in Armagnac and Cognac barrels. Then, another 6 months later, the ship arrived back in Amsterdam and this fantastic rum had time to receive a distinctive "Tres Hombres" worthy finish. With the ship constantly moving, the Armagnac and Cognac barrels intensified the rum's flavor for an unforgettable finish.
