Clairin Vaval Ansyen rum comes from the Arawaks distillery in Haiti. This distillery was built after the second war by Danois Vaval in the village of Cavaillon. This single cask bottling from Clairin Vaval - which is exclusive to the Netherlands - has spent 49 months in an ex-Caroni barrel which creates a heavier profile.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fruity, banana, pepper and sugar cane.
Taste: Spicy licorice and slightly smoky due to the ex-Caroni barrel.
Finish: Long and persistent, with dark nuances of coffee and tobacco.
