Zuidam Special 36 - Korenwijn 10YO Oloroso Cask (38%)

Zuidam Korenwijn is distilled from the same mashbill as Zuidam Old Genever. The genever is fermented from equal parts corn, rye, and malted barley. For Korenwijn, this mash is distilled not three but four times in pot stills. This batch was aged for over 10 years in gorgeous oloroso sherry casks.

Tasting notes:
Nose: incomparable, Gorgeous, Complex and rich. Subdued woody notes dominated by Stewed peaches, orange and Honey. Vanilla ice cream and warm apple pie.
Taste: Rich and complex and full of flavour. Chocolate covered raisins and hazelnuts together with stewed apples and peaches.
Finish: Medium long with dried fruit and honey
