The Adelphi Clarendon 2008 12 Year Old Madeira Cask is a Jamaican single cask rum, selected and bottled by Adelphi, a well-respected independent bottler known for both whisky and rum.

Distilled in 2008 at the Clarendon Distillery (Monymusk), this rum was aged for 12 years and bottled in 2023 at cask strength.

Maturation took place in a refill Madeira cask, adding an extra layer to the classic Jamaican profile. This results in a balance between fruity, ester-driven notes and cask influence.

The nose reveals ripe tropical fruit, raisins and light wine notes, with hints of spice. The palate is rich and layered, with dried fruit, citrus, spice and a pronounced oak influence.

The finish is long and intense, with lingering fruit, spice and a subtle wine-like sweetness.
