Ardbeg Dolce (47.8%)

Ardbeg Dolce is the Ardbeg Day release of 2026 and appears in time for Fèis Ìle. In doing so, the distillery remains true to its strength: giving the distinct Islay character a surprising twist. This limited single malt matures in a combination of classic bourbon casks and Marsala dolce casks, the sweetest variant of the fortified wine from Sicily. This results in a richer, more opulent interpretation of the house style. With an alcohol percentage of 47.8%, the whisky balances Ardbeg's characteristic peat smoke, briny coastal influences, and fresh citrus with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and nutty sweetness from the Marsala influence.
