Ardnahoe Bholsa Oloroso Sherry Casks (50%)

This second core release from Ardnahoe Distillery – Islay’s newest (est. 2018) – takes its name from the rugged Bholsa caves near the distillery, promising a whisky experience as memorable as its namesake. Matured predominantly in Oloroso sherry casks for luscious dried-fruit depth, it’s bottled at a robust 50% ABV without chill-filtration or added colouring, preserving every bit of its authentic character. For Islay whisky fans, Bholsa offers the best of both worlds: indulgent sherry-cask richness and the unmistakable warmth of Islay peat, delivered in a silky, satisfying dram.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Red berries, roasted nuts, orange zest, and a touch of smoke.
Palate: Rich dried fruits, fig sweetness, cinnamon spice, and gentle peat.
Finish: Long and warming, with smoky fruit and a peppery kick.
