Ardnamurchan AD/Tokaij Cask Release (52%)

With the Ardnamurchan AD/Tokaji Cask Release, the young Highland distillery presents one of its most striking experiments. For this limited edition, only unpeated spirit was used, which first matured in ex-bourbon casks and was then transferred to Hungarian Tokaji sweet dessert wine casks. This results in a whisky in which Ardnamurchan's fresh, fruity character blends beautifully with the honeyed and floral influences of this famous dessert wine. The finish is lightly briny and refined. A total of only 8,736 bottles were released.
