Berry Bros & Rudd - Portsmouth Rum 2019 Cask#5 (57%)

For this release, the historic London wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd selected a single cask of rum from The Portsmouth Distillery in the United Kingdom. Distilled in 2019, the rum was bottled a few years later as a single cask release, yielding just 312 bottles from cask number 5.

Bottled unfiltered and at cask strength, the rum retains its full intensity. The nose reveals fresh citrus and pear alongside hints of vanilla and gentle spice.

On the palate the rum shows energy and clarity, combining bright fruit with subtle peppery notes and a faint maritime freshness.

The finish is long and crisp with lingering citrus, white pepper and a refined dryness.
