Daftmill 15YO Fife Strength 2024 (56,3%)

The Daftmill 15 Year Old Cask Strength (2006/2022) is a rare Lowland single malt whisky produced at the Cuthbert family's farm distillery in Fife, Scotland. This release was distilled in 2006 from Chariot barley, harvested on the farm's own land, and matured for 15 years in 28 first-fill ex-bourbon casks. In 2022, the whisky was bottled at natural cask strength of 55.7% ABV, without cold filtration and retaining its natural colour.

Has a complex, malty sweetness with a rich biscuit-like texture. Flavours of lemon barley water, green herbal tea, bergamot, lemon peel and a hint of olive oil. With water, fresh flavours of spearmint, floral nectar and grassy rapeseed oil emerge.
