Edradour Caledonia 12 Years Old is a characterful Highland single malt whisky from one of Scotland's smallest and most artisanal distilleries: Edradour Distillery. This expression was specially bottled for lovers of deep, dark sherry influences and is known for its full, rich style.
The whisky is matured primarily in Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in an intense, dark sherry profile with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, and warm spices. The name Caledonia refers to the ancient Roman word for Scotland and is also a nod to the famous Scottish musician Dougie MacLean, whose song "Caledonia" is known worldwide.
