Product description
The Flor de Caña 7 Year Old is a rum from Nicaragua, produced by Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua. It is part of the core range of Flor de Caña, a distillery with a long heritage dating back to 1890.
This rum is aged for seven years in oak casks and is known for its relatively dry and structured style, typical of Nicaraguan rum. Maturation takes place naturally under tropical conditions.
The nose shows roasted nuts, light caramel and subtle oak. On the palate it is smooth but not overly sweet, with notes of cocoa, toasted oak and light spice.
The finish is medium in length and slightly dry, with lingering wood and cocoa.
