This is also the final bottling of this impressive series. This prestigious series, crafted by master distiller Richard Seale , is known worldwide for its uncompromising quality, complete transparency, and the use of exclusively traditional production methods. Without the addition of sugar, colorings, or other additives, Epilogue allows the pure character of Barbados rum to shine through.
This special bottling is a blend of pot still and column still rum, crafted from molasses and fully matured in the tropical conditions of Barbados. The combination of carefully selected ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks creates an impressively layered flavour profile with a perfect balance of fruit, spices, and wood influences.
TASTING NOTES:
On the nose, rich aromas of vanilla, honey, dried apricots, orange peel, and raisins unfold, followed by notes of toasted oak, cocoa, caramel, and subtle spices.
The taste is powerful and complex, with layers of toffee, dark chocolate, candied fruit, figs, and brown sugar. The influence of the sherry casks adds elegant notes of dried fruit and nuts, while the bourbon casks provide creamy vanilla, coconut, and refined woody tones. The perfect balance between sweetness, spiciness, and oak makes every sip special.
The finish is exceptionally long, warm, and refined, with persistent notes of cocoa, orange peel, espresso, vanilla, and a subtle spiciness.
