Foursquare Equidem 14YO ECS Mark XXVII (61%)

This 14-year-old Foursquare Equidem is a blend of Pot and column-distilled rums. It has aged for 5 years in ex-Bourbon casks and a further 9 years in ex-Black Muscat casks. Also the 27th release of the Exceptional cask Series.

Equidem means "Real". With this, Foursquare continues the trend of releasing pure rum without additives and being transparent.
The Black Muscat is a red grape variety. In the US, the grape is planted in wine estates in California, Virginia, Oregon, Texas and Washington. In Canada, the grape is also found on Vancouver Island. The French use it mainly as a dessert grape, including AOC varieties such as Muscat du Ventoux.
