Glen Moray Elgin Curiosity - Rhum Agricole Depaz (46,3%)

With the Elgin Curiosity range, Glen Moray explores more unconventional cask influences, and this edition finished in Rhum Agricole Depaz casks highlights that approach. The use of fresh cane juice rum casks from Martinique brings a different dimension compared to more traditional wine or sherry finishes.

In the glass, it shows a lively and slightly exotic character, with tropical fruit, citrus and light honey, alongside a fresh, almost grassy nuance typical of agricole influence.

On the palate, that combination becomes more defined. Gentle sweetness and fruit are balanced by light spice and a fresh, slightly vegetal note that adds an extra layer. It remains playful and well balanced.

The finish is medium in length, with a fresh, lightly drying edge, where citrus, herbs and a subtle cane-like note linger.
