Glenfarclas 2012 The Trinity Vintage Series is the first release in this series and is built entirely around Oloroso sherry cask maturation. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024, it was released without added colour and without chill filtration. The result stays close to the classic Glenfarclas style: Speyside single malt with clear sherry influence, generous fruit and a warm malt backbone.

In the glass, it opens with demerara sugar, malt and Oloroso sherry, followed by chocolate, cooked red fruits and darker fruit notes. The palate is creamy and smooth, bringing more fruit, gentle spice and a light touch of nuts and oak. The sherry casks add richness and warmth, while the whisky keeps a polished, clear character rather than becoming overly heavy.
