Glenfiddich Fire & Cane (43%)

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane explores the contrast between smoke and sweetness, without letting either side dominate. Made partly with peated malt and finished in rum casks, it takes on a softer, slightly sweeter direction.

It opens with a gentle smokiness, more of a warm glow than heavy peat. Notes of toffee, baked apple and brown sugar follow, while the rum cask influence adds roundness with hints of tropical fruit and soft caramel.

On the palate, that balance holds. Smoke and sweetness sit alongside each other without clashing. The texture is smooth, with light spice and a soft, almost syrupy sweetness rounding things out.

The finish is warm and lightly smoky, with lingering caramel, gentle spice and a subtle sweet note.
