The Glenrothes 12 Years is built around sherry cask maturation, giving it a warmer and more rounded style. Rather than aiming for intensity, it develops gradually with a focus on balance and depth.

It opens with ripe pear and apple, followed by honey and light vanilla notes. Layers of raisin and gentle spice emerge, supported by a subtle oak influence that keeps everything in place without dominating.

On the palate, it feels smooth and sufficiently full. Sweet fruit and caramel integrate with oak, while a mild spice adds a touch of structure.

The finish is soft and gently drying, with lingering fruit, honey and a subtle oak note fading gradually.
