Jura French Cognac Cask is a special single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura, in which the distinctive Jura house style is enriched with a refined finish in carefully selected French cognac casks. This maturation adds extra elegance and depth to the whisky's soft, fruity character.
TASTING NOTES
On the nose, inviting aromas of ripe apricots, peaches, honey, and vanilla emerge, complemented by notes of candied orange, raisins, and subtle influences of oak.
The taste is round and rich, with layers of caramel, soft toffee, dried fruit, and warm spices. The cognac casks provide a refined fruitiness and a light floral touch that is beautifully balanced with the characteristic Jura style.
The finish is long and soft, with persistent notes of vanilla, ripe stone fruit, light spices, and an elegant influence of wood.
