Kõloa Kaua'I Dark Hawaiian Rum (40%)

Kōloa Kaua‘i Dark Hawaiian Rum is a rum with an immediately darker, richer profile. Made from pure cane sugar, it is distilled twice in a vintage 1,210-gallon steam-powered copper pot still and cut with filtered water from Mount Waiʻaleʻale. That process gives it a full, polished foundation where warmth, softness and bold flavour come together naturally.

In the glass, it opens generously with vanilla at the centre, followed by dark chocolate, freshly brewed espresso and a deeper, slightly dessert-like note reminiscent of chocolate cake. On the palate, that character carries through beautifully, with vanilla leading into semi-sweet chocolate and coffee notes that give the rum extra depth. For a dark rum, it stays approachable and rounded, finishing on a drier note that keeps everything in balance. It is a richly flavoured bottling with real presence, whether served neat or used in cocktails.
