Created to celebrate the Fèis Ìle 2025 Festival, this limited-edition release from Mac-Talla is a beautiful meeting of Islay peat smoke and the rich fruit character of Amarone wine casks from northern Italy.

This whisky was fully matured in first-fill Amarone casks, allowing the deep red wine influence to shine through with layers of fruit, spice, and gentle oak. Bottled at 54,3% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, it offers a full, authentic flavour experience.

On the nose, you’ll find notes of ripe peaches, cherries, and dark chocolate, gently wrapped in subtle peat smoke. The palate is rich and velvety, opening with dark cocoa and red fruits, balanced by sweet oak and soft spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, fruit, and tannins that fade gracefully.
