Plage du Sud Rosé is a delicious light fruity and fresh rosé. A hyper elegant Rosé from the south of France made like a Gris. Fragile in colour with juicy fruit on the palate.

A few years back, solid rosé wines were especially sought after. Exuberant in flavour and abundant in colour. Grape varieties like Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon were widely used. A tentative turnaround came with the much more elegant and delicate Gris-like wines from Provence and northern Italy. The rosé trend now is finesse, hyper-elegant fruit and pale salmon pink in colour. One of the trendsetters was and is Plage du Sud. Referencing the Mediterranean feel, the Côte d'Azur, with its sunny terraces and strolling boulevards. A defiant nod to Provence, the Côte d'Azur. The origin of Plage du Sud Rosé is Languedoc, under the IGP Pays d'Oc, a collective name of southern French wine regions located on the Mediterranean Sea. Vineyards with a Mediterranean climate ideal for viticulture, the mistral, the sudden rising winds, hot summers and mild winters. Plage du Sud Rosé is a hip and chic wine. Just an all-rounder.
