Bowmore Aston Martin Master's Selection 22 Year Old is an extremely fine collaboration of Bowmore's Master Whiskey Blender and Aston Martin's Chief Creative Officer to unite two worlds. Double-matured in specially chosen European oak and Oloroso Sherry casks, along with the optimum mix of American oak hogsheads, the Islay single malt is a tribute to Bowmore's definitive and consistent character. Bottled at 51.0% alc. The nose opens with aromas of lemon peel, poached peaches and vanilla that give way to delicious notes of treacle, toffee, antique oak, toasted chestnuts and soft leather. The palate is rich and intense, with a dominant sherry, nutty character on top of notes of chocolate, sultanas, red berries and layers of peat smoke, followed by a long and sweet finish with oak spice and sea salt.
