On the nose , peat smoke, sea salt, and citrus blend with soft notes of vanilla and honey . The palate is rich and layered with smoky malt, campfire notes, light pepper, sweet oak, and a subtle maritime freshness . The finish is long, warm, and smoky , with a refined balance between strength and smoothness.
Scarabus 10 Year Old is bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of colouring , allowing the pure character of this Islay whisky to fully come into its own.
