Signatory Vintage Auchentoshan 2013 – 13 Years Old is a fine independent bottling from The Un-Chillfiltered Collection. Distilled in 2013 at the iconic Lowland distillery Auchentoshan and bottled after 13 years of maturation at an accessible 46% alcohol, without chill filtration and retaining its natural color. As a result, all aromas, oils, and flavors are fully preserved.
TASTING NOTES:
On the nose, this whisky opens with fresh notes of citrus, green apple, and ripe pear, followed by soft vanilla, honey, biscuit, and a subtle floral elegance. Auchentoshan's characteristic triple distillation ensures an exceptionally smooth and refined character.
The taste is creamy and balanced, with notes of vanilla, malt, toffee, and lightly toasted oak. Fruity accents of peach, lime, and apple are beautifully complemented by a hint of almond, white pepper, and soft spices.
The finish is long, fresh, and refined, with persistent notes of vanilla, citrus, and an elegant influence of wood.
