Tequila Ocho Plata Single Estate is an exceptional 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila known as one of the pioneers of the single estate concept. Each bottling comes from one specific agave field ( rancho ), allowing the unique terroir of the region to be fully expressed. Just like with a single vineyard wine or single malt whisky, you can taste the influence of soil, climate, and vintage in the glass.
This uncolored Plata tequila is bottled immediately after distillation, fully preserving the pure character of the perfectly aged agave. On the nose, fresh aromas of cooked agave, citrus, lime, green herbs, and white pepper unfold, complemented by subtle floral notes and a light minerality.
The taste is refined and lively, with a beautiful balance between sweet agave, tropical fruit, citrus zest, and gentle spiciness. Notes of black pepper, anise, and an elegant mineral touch provide added complexity, while the silky texture culminates in a long, fresh, and dry finish.
