The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from vineyards situated on the gentle slopes of the banks of Breede River. The rich and fertile alluvial soil here provides perfect growing conditions for Sauvignon Blanc. The ripe bunches of grapes are picked by hand in the early morning in order to keep the quality and freshness of the grape optimal. The grapes are destemmed and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation the wine matures for another four months on the fine ´lie´ that is regularly stirred. The result is a light and fruity wine, with aromas of passion fruit and asparagus. The taste is full and balanced, with lovely fresh tones. Perfect in combination with seafood or as an aperitif.
