Alvi's Drift Signature Viognier (13,5%)

The wine has matured for 4 months on the fine lees. This is one of the top Viogniers of South Africa! The wine has a beautiful pale straw yellow colour. The nose is typical of Viognier, but in an elegant and subdued way. The aromas are dominated by apricots and white peaches. The wine is soft, ripe and round with a friendly mouth feel. The flavours linger, giving the wine a very long taste experience of apricots, nectarines and even a little honey. But nuances of cashew nuts also add to the elegance and aroma.
