This rum from Ron Barceló is one of the most well-known releases from the house and is produced in the Dominican Republic. The style focuses on balance and maturation, combining multiple aged components into a rounded blend.
Made from sugarcane honey and distilled in column stills, the different rums are aged separately in oak casks under tropical conditions before being blended.
On the nose, notes of caramel, vanilla and dried fruit appear, supported by light oak and gentle spice. The palate is round and full with toffee, oak and cocoa, complemented by soft spice. The finish is smooth and slightly sweet with lingering warm notes.
