This release from Beenleigh Artisan Distillers showcases the depth and character of well-aged Australian rum. Distilled in 2013 and fully tropical aged, it delivers a concentrated and expressive profile.

The rum is produced using a combination of column distillation followed by copper pot still redistillation, providing both structure and complexity. It was aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks under tropical conditions, resulting in a notable angel’s share.

On the nose, rich notes of vanilla, oak and caramelised sugars appear, supported by ripe tropical fruit and gentle spice. The palate is bold and full-bodied, with strong oak influence, toffee and spice layered with fruity accents. The finish is long, warm and lingering with persistent oak and a subtle sweetness.
